I hadn't travelled to Europe before- my regular travel buddy Ang generally rules it out immediately because she has already been there- so, this was my first experience in Europe- and I was lucky enough to have my own travel guide!
I arrived safely, after more than 20 hours of travel. I missed my flight to Dublin from Chicago due to weather- but was lucky enough to fly through Heathrow, take a bus to Gatwick (also in London) and arrive in Dublin only 10 hours late! Thomas was there to greet me at the airport--and we headed back to his apartment, where he cooked a very delicious dinner--which included a bottle of wine from where we met in Argentina!
